Meditation is known for its innumerable benefits, including increasing concentration, patience, compassion, and lowering stress and anxiety. But perhaps the most powerful benefit meditation offers us is the chance to arrive, over and over, in the present moment. 
Come dive into the basics of how and why we meditate in this 4 week series.  We’ll learn how to build a lasting home practice, how to work with your thoughts, and discuss a variety of types of meditation, including breath-based, metta, mindfulness, and even walking meditation.
This class is open to anyone of all skill levels- whether you have a meditation practice already and are looking to build community, or are completely new to meditation.
